Where do I begin?  Gil all your photos are just great - you Fire and Ice is one of the best I have ever seen and I just can't get over how dark Time For Love is.  I dream of mine getting anywhere close to that!

Bill your blooms are all starting to show some fantastic color - that heat last week helped for sure.  Your MC is super awesome and I really love your Colosseum.  I hope mine starts looking like that soon!

Erny I really like your Inner Compass a lot and that seedling from Chris has high potential with such a unique color combination.  Looking forward to more blooms from that one.

I would get out your magnifying glass tomorrow as last week's hot weather was so ridiculously dry it was a perfect storm for spider mites along with it being spring so they are primed for the right conditions.  I had no winds here so it was really ripe for them and with the warm and dry winter I have seen them the whole time since December.  This outbreak was like something I would see in late summer not mid spring not to mention last summer was so mild I let my guard down a bit.

I had so many yellow leaves in the past 4 days I have almost completely filled my big green trash can with them.  Hopefully the Hort Oil Spray stopped them in their tracks and once I get my Avid order I will be delivering the knock out blow.

Erny - That's a fabulous Fire and Ice and I love Electric Pizzazz (I'm a brown flower fan).

Darren - Scarlet Beauty is looking awesome and that seedling is fantastic!!!

I'm posting blooms from the last two days (I've been working late the last couple of days). Lila bloomed for the 1st time in almost two years and has such a perfectly shaped flower. It had a rough winter in 2012 but is now a healthy bush. Had my 1st bloom on Jason B and photos don't do it justice. Fabulous colors. Also, day 2 pics of Cherry Glow and Meteorite.

Looking good Bill!  I will be watching your Cherry Glow closely to see how ours do.  If it is a hot summer I hope to see lots of white spotting and that pink halo.  Too cool last summer for that on mine.

Speaking of heat apparently next week will be hotter than last week with record highs.  Spider mite alert!
