I have my first large size VB blooms (so striking) - sorry the camera lense was not clean on those shots...

Bill, that mystery purple could be Me Oh My Oh as Darren suggested. I know Armstrong carries of lot of the Dupont CVs and that is where I got my MOMO. If the pink is a salmon pink color, it could be Ross Estey--also widely available at commercial nurseries.

Erny - Your Magnifique is magnificent!!! Mine is starting to bud up, so hopefully we can compare photos. That's the best Creole Belle that I have seen and Dapple Dandy is awesome.
Darren - Hot Southern Nights looks hotter than ever!!!
Thank you both for your suggestions on my mystery plants. I've had a Me-Oh My-Oh in the past and the blooms are quite different from my mystery purple. The petals on the mystery purple plant are heavy and crinkled much like Belle du Jour and the blooms last 3-5 days even with the high heat. Erny you are right about most of Armstrong's hibs being Dupont cvs and the best match I've come up with is Voodoo Doll but I may never know for sure. Anyway, not many new blooms to post. Had a bloom on Climax that wasn't fried by the time I got outside and a day 3 photo of my mystery purple. For the fans of the hibiscus ancestors I had a nice hibiscus storkii, a Fiji Island white and an El Capitolio.

Great blooms everyone! Already trying to convince the wife we need to get some of them. Finally, starting to see progress from the wintered plants, even though we are stuck in another cold snap of 40's. Below is Pinot Noir's first of the year and new addition Rocket Fuel. Ed

just two today, the sun really did a number on this enlightenment bloom so i moved to the shade. On the plus side, looks like the brush fires here are calming down. I hope HVH is okay.

Bill I have too bought a bunch from Armstrong the last several years and are familiar with what they normally carry. I have not grown MOMO so not super familiar with it but when you google it's blooms some do look quite similar to your's.
Another I have seen there was Delta Dawn which also can vary widely in appearance as well and has similar colors, etc... Other than that I cannot think of any others they have carried that would match that bloom.
