Ed you won't believe this but I did not feel the earthquake at all. I believe I am about 25 miles from the epicenter and I was on the computer all quiet in my home. I see this news headline on Yahoo saying 5.1 in Los Angeles and I am thinking it is a misprint. I suppose the earthquake waves don't just travel out in a perfect circle from the epicenter.
I even saw the Dodger game had a lot of shaking and that is a bit over 5 miles from me. Very strange but I am not complaining. The aftershocks should be over after a week. I lived in Northridge during that one and the aftershocks were insane. Lasting over a month - that first few days there was one every 10 minutes. I was a nervous wreck...

This is the best LBAL bloom for me yet and the camera wouldn't focus - I guess it was too dark. This CV has rocketed way up my favs list with the last few days blooms - WOW!

Bill,
My best guess is that Hugs n Kisses is a Dupont variety named Light My Fire. The "Kisses" series being grown and marketed by a couple of large mass market growers is supposed to be coming out with Acapulco Gold this summer, though renamed "All Aflutter" to fit their romantic theme. I assume you found this plant in a store like Home Depot or Lowes.
Darren, you sure are having a lot of nice blooms recently. I'm glad you remarked on the intensity of color with Ay Caramba. It hasn't been discovered much yet, sales of it being slower than expected, but it has fantastic color that most will appreciate when seen in real gardens.

Charlie and Darren, you are sure right about Ay Caramba. It is one of those whose color jumps out at you even from quite a distance. Also a good reliable bloomer.
