I second all of Darren's comments about the blooms in Charlie's greenhouse. Darren's photos are excellent but even some of those don't fully capture the beauty of a few of the flowers. I'm beginning to think that flowers are like people in that some are simply more photogenic than others. I've seen Chai Tea many times in the store and never gave it a second thought. But seeing it in person it became a "must have". Same for Snowstorm which I haven't seen before but was a real knockout. Chris, you will love that one. I also ordered Cinnamon Splendor thanks to the beautiful pictures that Patrick shared a few days ago.
My first bloom on Black Dragon today. The photos don't really do it justice either but I suspect some of that is my poor photographic skills. Also Daisy Mae, Confection Perfection, Vin Beaujolais, and Fuschia Delight.

Wow great pics darren and erny. You are right Erny about snowstorm, kerry showed me a pic the other day and I had to add it to my wish list. Any more of those coming along Charlie?
I am thinking about just ordering a chai tea based on Darren and Ernys reaction to that one, maybe a leap of faith as I havent given that one much thought either.
I am also glad to see riptide doing well, I need to get yours to you Darren, Ive been getting home so late lately, keep missing the post office...

Chris you won't be disappointed with Chai Tea - I'm sure in your conditions with your touch it will look pretty insane and in the color spectrum you like so much. No rush on Riptide as I'm still trying to figure out where to put all my newer plants...
Well I got my computer back today so a small back up of pics to post. I can't take credit for most of the blooms as they are from new arrivals from Charlie. I must say that Illuminati and Haute Couture are beyond expectations as is all the 2 gallon plants.

Erny your Brassy Blonde is starting to look pretty insane. I remember that Mike posted a pic of it last summer that had the brown zone so dark and contrasting with that warm yellow. It got a ton of attention on Facebook too! I hope your's keeps getting darker.

Rodeo Drive is back to having the insane black eye zone. It also produces very large blooms most of the time too. The bush is also starting to take on a nice shape...
Also my first really nice Saffron bloom - you can see faint pink at the ends of the white veins - very nice! Now I see why it has the name...

Darren, i"m glad to see you have your computer back.Great photos. I know what you mean about trying to find space for all the new plants. I finally bit the bullet and decided that all my really old cvs had to go to make room for the new ones. I took out the nine cvs I planted in front of my porch over ten years ago and finished replanting it today with 16 hibiscus and one plumeria. The only one of the nine I'll really miss is Herm Geller.
Got my first bloom on James Bond today. Also Red Cadillac (in the newly planted area), and Rose Quartz.

Pocahontas is another of the cvs planted in the former "hedge" area. Its perfect blooms are always a delight. Also Creole Belle, Night magic, Nightfire, and Space Oddity.

That turned out fantastic Erny! The rocks add a very professional touch to that planter and is that the Scentsational Plumeria? In a couple of years you are going to be so happy you changed out your plants there. So I hear you have some more planters to do now...
Also your blooms are getting just gorgeous with Prosperity, Pocahontas, Space Oddity & Night Magic leading the way for me.
