My first bloom on Sweet Caramel today. It's a really unique shade of brown. I haven't seen anything quite like it before. Also Flickering Flame, Silver Dragon, and Secret Heart.

First bloom on Aphrodite is large--measures just over 8". Also Daisy Mae, Rainbow Christie, and Living Legend.

Paul your Pinot Noir is looking more like Pinot Noir. Nice MN bloom too!
Had twins on Exuberance, I must say the form has been exquisite on the blooms so far and tons of buds too...

Happy 4th of July everyone!
Erny those Burnt Saffron twins are looking fierce and I love seeing Daisy Mae start to do the multiple blooms. It is quite a sight in person to see with lots of large size blooms on one plant.
Patrick your blooms are looking great with MaKenna being just lovely!
Well I don't have many blooms going on currently but for the few I have are some of my favorites. Too bad with the insect damage on TLM...

I suppose it is appropriate that Rocket's Red Glare would open to show its red, white, and blue colors on the 4th of July although the name is taken from the Star Spangled Banner that was written during the War of 1812, not the Revolutionary War. The second photo shows the flag that I always display on the 4th. It is known as the Gadsden flag and predates the stars and stripes. Benjamin Franklin thought that the snake best represented the spirit of the colonists seeking to secede from the British Empire.
