Thanks Bill - if you can get your Dapple Dandy in the sun as much as possible. The hot colors are truly extraordinary!
Speaking of which this new bloom today is hot hot hot!

I am not taking credit for any of these Bright Hope blooms. This is a new 6" from Charlie and did he send out a whopper of a plant. I wonder if the 6" ones left now are really getting big being so long in the greenhouse all this time?

Happy 4th of July to everyone!!!! My favorite holiday...
The real fireworks for me are in the blooms - Dapple Dandy, King K and HH all have some nice pyrotechnics of their own going on!

Darren, love your Dapple Dandy and King K. You've got to be thrilled with your new Bright Hope as well. Not a lot here today as I am experiencing major league bud drop. I'm spraying for thrips and hope that will take care of it. I wish I could get a photo of Black Dragon that shows its true color and texture. It's a truly spectacular bloom that looks like dark purple (almost black) velvet. Somehow it always looks more red in the photos. Also my first bloom in quite a while on Summer Fun. Also Secret Heart, Wild Grape, and Coy Beauty.

Great pics everyone! Hope everyone is having a great 4th weekend! I've been slacking on posting my bloom pics lately. So these are from the past couple of weeks.
First bloom on Angelique. Also, Blue Opal twins, first bloom on Cherish (was using a tshirt to try to block the sun for a better picture lol) , Cherry Blue, Creole Lady, and Fifi.

Erny that is surprising to hear about the bud drop and possible thrips impact. When I came back from being out of town I thought I was seeing increased thrips due to not being here and running out of ferts in my drip system while gone. Now I am wondering if that is the case. I will not spray for them and see if it clears up as my plants rebound as a way to compare.
Your Summer Fun is flat out awesome - I miss mine not blooming. It has been a struggle with mine as it is planted right next to a cement footing for a railing and the lack of root space seems to be an ongoing issue.
Paul your MC is really beautiful and that M Magic has a ton of personality even with the slender petals. That one will be one to watch!!
