Darren - I like what I see in Hula Dancer and that's a really interesting look for Night Runner.
Erny - Wow!!! Your garden is exploding. Fantastic Heartbreak Hotel blooms and the best Pocahontas bloom I've seen. White Hot and Glitz & Glitter are looking great. Nice to see Daddy's Angel.
Charlie - That's a real profusion of blooms on that Kinetic Energy bush.
Things are slowly picking up here. Blooms from the last few days: Golden Dust, Noche Buena, Hawaiian Salmon and my mystery pink.

Wow! Amazing blooms everyone! I wish I had the time to comment on everyone's individual photos. My laptop has decided to malfunction, so I'm going to try posting my pics from my iPad for the first time. Here goes...
I just returned from an awesome vacation in Provincetown, Massachusetts and I got a heck of a welcome home party from my hibiscus!
A beautiful Midnight Sonatta, Tahitian Princess, Merlot Magic, Crinkle In Time, Blue Opal, and White Water.

Ok, I guess posting from the iPad worked. So on to the next post. Lol
I managed to catch FiFi as she opened this morning. I noticed she looked more like FiFi as the day went on. I took 3 photos to show the transition.
Also, a beautiful Angelique bloom.
And a stunning Flaming Star with an oddly split pistil at the base.

Also had a bloom on Winter Wonderland that must have opened yesterday because it was tattered a bit from the rain we had. And a bloom on Mountain Mist that looked a lot like the WW bloom.
First time bloom on Serenity. Gorgeous!
Magic Crystal.
And one of my recent favorites, Snow Angel.

So finally, I had to have a bit of fun with this bounty of blooms. One benefit of growing these beauties in containers is being able to rearrange them into a few group photos! Super fun! I even had to get my tattoo in on the action. Enjoy! |

Bill, I'm glad to see that you are getting more blooms now. Since you like The Path a lot, try Bridal Path if you don't already have it.
Paul, beautiful Serenity. I think it should be a strong candidate for Hibiscus of the Year. Also great group shots.
Darren, Some Like It Hot is sure a great performer for you. Also impressed with Bright Hope and Out of the Ashes.
Some of mine from today include Polar Bear, Lady In Waiting, Butterscotch Bliss, Pocahontas, Solar Soul, and Tahitian Sophistication blooming behind a plumeria.
