Erny that Night Fire is off the charts - I can't stop looking at them!!!  Also loving your Bridal Path and Slapstick as well.  All your blooms are looking great!

John as always your Cindy's Heart is awesome.  Yeah I am so happy to see Prosperity back amongst the living again.  It seems like it waited until the heatwave we had subsided and then decided to awaken.  I noticed all my hibiscus are in a big time grow mode now that the temps are more normal again.

This was a very nice surprise today - a bloom from Vin Beaujolais.  I thought I might have killed it when I decided to move it's location and had to cut all the roots.  It looked dead for 2 months but awoke in mid June...also nice to see the eye is now super big and red like Erny's blooms.  That 's what better soil will do...

Darren, Charlie should put that picture of your Hot Pepper on his store catalog--best I've seen of that cv. It's nice to see Venus Rising. I just put that one in the ground yesterday. Summer Fun is spectacular as always.
Cindy's Heart decided to bloom today after taking a couple of weeks off. Also Palm Springs and Fifth Dimension.

I was surprised to see a bloom open late this afternoon on a plant that hadn't produced a decent flower in over a year and a half. This is Black Baron. It's a real oldie--sort of the Black Dragon or Black Dream of its day a number of years ago. I had it in a pot for a few years and then in the ground for the past several years. The bush had become quite leggy and unattractive with few blooms and almost all of those failed to open. In late April of this year I decided to radically prune this and three other old ones that were showing the same pattern. The pictures below show Mary Louise on the right, Black Baron in the center and Erica Nicole on the left just after I pruned them back practically to their main stems. The bottom photos show what they look like today. The lesson this has taught me is not to be timid when pruning back a plant that has become unattractive in its growth pattern.

Here is a happy post as I had my first Midsummer Night bloom since mine pretty looked like it died several months ago with an accidental iron overdose.  Amazing comeback and thanks to Denise as it seems that whatever is blooming for her mine seem to bloom the next day...sounds good to me.

Ha! Sounds fine with me! Maybe my Prosperity sent your Prosperity a message, as mine is starting to show some petal on some of its buds! Seriously- I can't believe yours is coming back! It looked DEAD! That's exciting news. I remember seeing bloom after bloom after bloom from yours last late Summer/Fall/Winter!

Erny- your Voodoo Magic is killing me after I thought I had it all this time and it bloomed as the wrong plant! Luckily, the company is sending me a replacement, but now I have to wait even longer! Ugh! Yours are looking quite nice, along with alllll of your others! Smiley

Deb- Your blooms are all so pretty! I have a question about your Bienvenue. Does it drop a lot of buds? Mine has dropped every one its gotten thus far Sad I keep seeing your bright beautiful blooms and I want some!

Great shots as usual everyone.

Slapstick looks great and I am glad I have one. Who did Chads? That seems to be a great one too.
