I recently moved Crystal Pink to a really sunny spot after a lot of thought considering it's parents. Today's bloom might be an indicator that this was the right move.
Venus Rising seems to go grey the hotter it gets - just a fabulous color combo...

Awesome blooms everyone! I love this time of year.
High Voltage had a petaloid for me today.
This was my first plant from HVH. It is where the madness began for me...! it really is a nice attractive plant.

That HV is very nice Denise, how old is it, its certainly growing well and has a nice shape, have you pruned it much.

Great blooms everyone! Only one bloom for me today... Scarlet Dragon, but its a beauty! I took 2 pictures of it (one with clouds in front of the sun, and one with me in front of the sun lol) just to see the different looks in photos taken just moments apart. Plus I liked how it looked with the lantana in the background.

Paul- that Scarlet Dragon does look really nice with the lantana behind it! David- I got that High Voltage as a 4 inch in Spring 2010. I only just pruned it a little (1 or 2 branches) once at the end of this past Winter, 2012. I think I am feeling a little more comfortable with pruning now and will take some of the height off of it next time and hopefully get it a little fuller. Here is a picture of it when it was a baby with its first bloom in September 2010.

Doll- your colors are so rich. I love them.
Sea of Tranquility bloomed for the first time for me today. Along with Gabriel and some more High Voltages. If SoT and Gabriel hadn't bloomed on the same day, it would have been hard to tell what the differences between the two were! Very similar.

Sun Shower is liking the heat and showing more yellow spots. The bush is now about 7 feet tall and 4-5 feet in diameter. Also Simple pleasures.
