DEB - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Have a great one and many more healthy ones for you and the hibs too...by the way your plants look so healthy and happy. You know your stuff when it comes to hibiscus.
You know my Bienvenue has been a real challenge too. I got a 2 gallon one early last spring and put it in a really sunny spot - it hated it and lost most it's leaves in a month. Then I moved it under my peach tree, replanted it this year and still not much to speak of except some unextraordinary blooms in early spring. It didn't like water at all but lately I have really increased the amount of potassium and it is looking the best it has in a very long time. Maybe that with the heat and humidity this month is to it's liking. Denise maybe some extra potassium without the salt might be what it needs?

I got my first regular bloom from Best of Times since early spring when it gave me a couple odd minis. I can say this plant has conquered a really tough spot in front of my air conditioning unit as it is doing great even with the really hot month we've had. I love the orange and pink combo!

Sizzle is really starting to come into it's own. The plant is already turning into a monster bush and I just planted it in May. This is one of those blooms that is a challenge to properly convey the colors. My best description of it is the red is an orangy red and it is such a strong color that is the beauty of this one. What I also really like about this bloom is the subtle eye which has a pink shading too it. Today I saw a little bit of rays so really striking when seen in person. I took a lot of pics but still not quite what it is in person...I thought it would be interesting to compare it to the red in Scarlet Beauty.

Nice Darren, the Sizzle is great and your best yet of Flickering Flame. Happy Birthday Deb, don't go overdoing it haha, looks like you may have a lot of watering with that collection, do you have to bring them all in at night.

Happy Birthday Deb! It was my friend birthday yesterday as well. Kristen Fire and Ice is insane! Love that one! Silver Dragon and Heartbreak hotel today. Silver Dragon is probably one of the most Prolific CVs I have ever seen. It has not stopped flowering since it started budding back in February. It seems to bloom more than it grows

Very nice blooms Kristen and Chris! I'd say August has been a great month to view blooms on here.
Today the quality of blooms I have is probably the best yet for my garden. Just hope everything keeps growing and hopefully more multiple blooms too...

I really love the pink eye and then how it extends out into the petals on Best of Times - kind of hard to see with the sun angle in the morning but very striking...

Today's thrill was the first bloom on My Blue Heaven. Also Heavy metal, Saffron, and Strawberry Fields Forever.
