Ernest, I'm not far from you, I live in Chino! Our weather is slightly more extreme here in the inland valley so for now I'm keeping my exotic hibiscus in pots. Thank you for all the great info, I'll have to go to that marker site and check it out. Yes, Darren can be dangerous!! I have to add 'Scarlet Beauty' now to my wish list....darn him!! LOL.

Magic Crystal and my first Braveheart. I really like the trait Braveheart has of sending a bunch of side branches which are budding up now too, should be quite the show.

Doll that is a gorgeous San Diego Sun. No buds on my little one yet, but it sure is an attractive plant.
Erny- I love your Voo Doo Magic. Really intense colors!

Chris that is a mesmerizing bloom on Magic Crystal. Between the two of ours with two slightly different colorations based on growing circumstances both are just wonderful!! Add Erny to the mix with a more sunny spot for his MC and we got it all covered I think...
I agree with Denise - that is an amazing Voodoo Magic there Erny! Wow talk about being perfect for a Thanksgiving Day table centerpiece...
John R great to have you post some awesome pics...Wow on both of those blooms. We don't see too many Rain Drop blooms, actually the same for EG too so great to see them. Yeah those thrips have been a nuisance this season so far...
John (Houston) your SD Sun looks like it has a really heavy strong texture to the petals. I bet it does well in the heat?
So I got my in laws some hibiscus for their porch (10 total) which is perfect with mostly dappled shade. One of them is AG and when it was at my house in total shade it was very happy as it acclimated a little. Potted it up and moved it there which is like two blocks away and it has not been a happy camper since with droopy leaves. I'm sure the heat is not helping but compared to mine which never has a problem it is like two different cvs. Every plant has it's own personality for sure...but true to AG form it is still blooming steadily even when not happy.

Bridal Path is gaining in size with each bloom as this one is over 8" in size. This CV really likes the heat, the hotter it is getting the happier it seems and now it wants water whereas before it would start to yellow when I walked by it and just thought of water...is it me or do a lot of the Australian hibiscus seem to like the heat? My Crystal Pink is another one with Aussie parents and after moving it to a hot spot it is really taking off for the 1st time in 2+ years.

It is so hard to hang with everyone here in terms of picture quality and variety.
Tangerine Dream, April Showers, Muy Caliente, Pixie Prince plus Rosiland profusion.

Len, those are really nice pictures. Tangerine Dream and Pixie Prince are real standouts. David, friends are taking a month long trip to Asia including a few days in Nha Trang. How can they contact you?

Len those are outstanding blooms & shots. I am regretting not getting Tangerine Dream when I had the chance after seeing those blooms. A lot to look at with that one and boy does it bloom! All your blooms your beautiful!
Hey folks, whatever you do don't be hesitant to post any pics of your blooms on here. The only bad pictures are the ones you don't post so the more the better. My goal is to see if we can one day do a page a day here on the monthly blooms.
