I'm really glad to hear that Midsummer Night adjusted to being planted in your yard without any signs of shock. I was a little concerned because in the greenhouse without any wind to shake and stiffen the branches the plants grew very lush but too soft for my taste. I'm pretty sure they will harden up as they adjust to real world conditions but am glad to know they don't go into a sulk while doing so.

Updated pics for this CV. It has turned out to be quite a treasure. The blooms offer a lot of different looks and are easily affected by temps which I like a lot. Never know what each one will open up and look like....

Oh wow...I never intended to have more than 4 or 5 plants, but ever since joining this forum that is totally out the window! It's just too easy to fall in love with a bloom! I'm gonna be keeping my eye on this one after seeing these pictures...  |

Denise that is how I've gotten up to over 90 plants with 7 more on the way from the store reopening and I ran out of space a long time ago. I figured I'd max out at about 25 plants. Cheez

It took some work to get it to stop pushing out side branches, but it is finally shaped and ready to do its thing.

Very pretty - this is what the flowers look like in our greenhouse most of the time. It is a vigorous grower and can be soft at first as the rapidly growing branches are not as strong as they will be later on. Your bush looks good.

Yeah, that was it for sure. Grew very fast and branches hung. But I kept cutting back and the main braches are pretty strong now. Very pretty flower. Very dark when it opens the first day and second day it looks like what I have shown here.
