Hey Charlie,
How do you compare this one to Creme de Cacao? It looks like the bloom is a bit more fancy?

So far the flowers of Wakanisha have seemed more vivid to me than Creme de Cacao. What I like most about the variety is the bush and the amazing leaves. The 4 inch pots of it are like no other hibiscus I have seen - really wild looking leaves but quite intriguing.

Thats what I like to to hear, I like those cool leaves! Pinot noir looks just like a fig plant! I couldn't help but to grab one, I wanted to get a nice brown hibiscus, and it sounds like this one will fill that niche quite nicely. Do you have a pic of the plant's leaves?

Have to love that online "research" time.
I don't have a photo of the leaves of the small Wakanisha plants in the 4 inch pots but will take one and post it here asap.

Charlie, are there any varieties with variegated leaves? Isn't there an old garden variety that had variegated leaves? I think it had a tiny little red flower similar to Psyche.

I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could.

LOL yes, more research time today
I look forward to seeing some pics! Perhaps even some pics of other interesting leaved varieties in the works?
