Hurricane Help

I live in Florida right on Hurricane Matt's track. Thinking we might be receiving 140 mph winds I dug up newly planted (3 months) 2 gallon sizes plants. They had good root balls and put them all into their own 5 gallon pails. All plants very carefully planted back in the ground within 48 hours.
Some plants in a bit of a shock dropping some yellow leaves but all in all not to bad. I am being careful they don't dry out but being aware not to give too much water.
Any one else ever done anything similar? Cindy or Charlie any suggestions?
Thanks,.....

Sounds like the plants are doing OK. If they continue to have wilted leaves you can wet the leaves several times per day until they no longer wilt. Losing some leaves is not a surprise and won't hurt the plants going forward. Please let us know how it turns out or update with other information.

Thank you Cindy! It looks like all plants are going to make it. I believe putting them in the 5 gallon pails saved the day.
Thanks Jim
