i am looking for anyone's previous experience crossing a red double hibiscus.  I have a batch of seedlings that came out with lots of tri-lobed leaves.  The seedlings are only about a year old so no flower info yet.  most likely they will be a smaller type flower nothing fancy.

the first pic is the pod parent and the second is one of the seedlings.

the seedlings have outgrown their tri-lobed leaves and started producing more normal leaves.  the plants have the funny leaves on the bottom and the normal leaves on the top.  guessing they will eventually convert to all normal leaves.
