Can't seem to get any buds from a few of my plants.

    For the past 2 months, I haven't gotten any buds or blooms from my Cranberry Zing or Groovey Grape. They have grown and look robust, just no blooms. All my other HVH plants are growing like the national debt, and Midsummer's Night, Valentines Day, Stormy Heart, Sunflower, and Hotel California are also pumping the flowers out like a factory. I fertilize regularly as directed on the HVH fertilizer tub, and have actually been able to increase to 1 tsp per gallon 2 times a week since the temperature has gone down for fall.

Any ideas?

Brad - I just saw your post from 10/24 about no buds on a few of your plants.  Did you get the answers you were looking for, or are you still trying to come up with a solution?  I tried Hibiscus Booster in addition to my regular fertilizer and it really helped me.

Great advice Kathleen!  I recommend the same as the HVH Booster really helps out.  Seems like lots of potassium and sunlight are the best contributors to bud development.

Yeah, good advice all around. Some varieties mature at different rates but once they get going they should do fine.

I'm planning on increasing the amount of booster I use in my indoor plants in the hope that this will increase the budding amount indoors, especially since the days are just starting to get longer (hooray!).  Charlie, since I am using the houseplant formula and not the special blend indoors, should I still be using 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of booster?
