I have a plant 'The Path' which was grafted; now that it has bloomed I see that the main plant became 'Pride of Hankins' and just one smaller branch coming off at the base is actually 'The Path'.
Can I chop off the 'Pride of Hankins' main branch just above where the desirable grafted branch is? And if I do that, can I just root the whole cutting of the POH? It's very pretty!!

Yes, it is best to remove all new growth of the root stock and yes Pride of Hankins roots very easily and well.

Thanks so much, Charlie! It took me a bit to figure out what happened with this plant LOL.  Undecided Should I put some sort of patch or seal on the cut where I remove the POH?

No need to patch it up at this time of year. It will quickly harden over with callous and heal just fine.
