Just wondering if the larger the plant the bigger the bloom?
I ask because im limited on space and would like to grow nice size blooms but without a huge bush

That isn't always the case. There are many cultivars that can get large blooms when the plants are fairly small. A few that immediately come to mind from my collection that have gotten 8 inch blooms or larger when the plants were still small are Fantasy Charm (11"), Blonde Ambition (10"), High Voltage (8"), Heavy Metal (8"), and Bridal Path(10"). Look for slower growing more compact cultivars, they're much easier to keep on the smaller side. The cultivar Kissing Giant is one of several slower growers listed in the Hibiscus Gallery that stays fairly small based on the description. It also gets large (8-10") blooms. I think many of us on this forum can relate to your limited space issues. Personally I have at least twice as many plants as I have room for and will need to make some difficult decisions to cut this collection back down to a manageable size this winter. A major spider mite infestation has done some of that for me already.

You are welcome and that's how I got so many. Based on several posts by other forum member we are not alone on that. Charlie isn't making it easy on us either. Look at all the incredible new cultivars he keeps developing. LOL

I can attest to that! I only meant to have 10 or so CV's. I think I am above 40. Lol. It's easy to want one of each!
