I couldn't resist getting this one with the advertised 9-11" blooms and fun pink and red coloring.  It has grown nicely since getting it as a 4" late May 2011.  It did get some spider mites late summer that ate away the lower leaves and that effect still shows but the vigor of the plant has not waned.

What does show is that this CV has a lot of strength in really thick branches, leaves and blooms (all be it 1 so far).  It is already showing it really wants to bloom too in the middle of winter so that is exciting as well.

Should be more blooms soon...these are the winter colors so I would expect a much different look come summer.

some updated blooms shots for Big Oaf.  I like this one a lot - the colors are just fun and easy going.  Can't wait to see how big they get as the plant grows stronger and matures.
