Denise, very pretty - Cindy says to tell you she loves the Halloween photo! She's spent the last couple of weeks turning her classroom into a cute haunted house for little kids.

Hi everybody
Here is a bloom from Swamp Music this is the third day for this flower but its been in the house , night time has been getting down into high 30s .

Wow Mike, great bloom! Swamp music is one for the indoor hibiscus grower! Blues and Browns have become my new favorite color types for hibiscus, they thrive up here in the PNW. The flowers are very deep and dramatic, the cooler weather and potassium "diet" I give them really helps bring them to their full potential.

Hi Chris
Yours look great also how did you get such bright colors , you are growing them inside aren't you, then it has to be the fertilizer that helps with the brighter colors . I find that some of them do better inside than outside they don't like the sun that much swamp music is one of them , denim revolution & love story are two others so I just keep them in the house .

Ah what a nice TP mike!
I think I can thank my high potassium and magnesium fertilizing regime for these awesome colors. When growing inside extra magnesium and potassium makes a huge difference. I am now growing under T5 lights so it will be interesting to see how that changes bloom color. So far the hibiscus seem to really like the consistent temps and light under the lights, but only time will tell.
They are 6400K lights, daylight, so hopefully i will see lots of blooms too!

Mike that is an awesome bloom there, T Princess has so many looks - just love the variety with this CV. In fact that looks a lot like T Lavender Rainbow.
Lots of fresh blooms today...
Black Dream is now getting into extreme dark mode with that super waxy look.
First Exuberance bloom today
The Path gave me a giant dazzler along with Palm Springs...

Hot Southern Nights today and my friend Kim An[for scale] standing next to Transcendent, got this cv 6 months ago and its now nearly 6 feet tall.
Darren sorry to be a pain but I have looked back through the Forum and I cant find that article you wrote about Potassium and water, am I right in remembering that you wrote giving extra Potassium can increase the amount of water needed and it is a good thing.
The reason I ask is about a month ago I started giving extra and all my cv's are now needing a lot more water, in fact a lot more, I was using 16 gal a day on average now its 24, quite an increase.
