  Hi everyone,
I have a young Blue Ballerina that is growing fine with some buds. The four or five leaves near the top of the plant are curled or rolled up. It is the only one of my hibiscus that does this. Is this a sign of something I am doing wrong?
thanks

I had the same thing happen with my BB, and have read about similar experiences from other people growing BB. I think it is one CV that is just more prone to the types of agents (bacterial, viral, fungal) which cause leaf curl.  It should go away on its own, you could try spraying a fungicidal and see if that helps.

Ahh, Norm, I think that is just how leaves look on BB, mine look the same way Smiley

I've seen this on Blue Ballerina fairly often, too. I thought it was a reaction to a pesticide spray but with many others seeing the same thing that seems less likely. However, it does not happen all the time with all plants of Blue Ballerina so it remains something of a mystery. It does not signal something worse about to happen to the plant as far as I've been able to tell.

We purchased our BB last year and it has always behaved that way some leaves are curled and some are flat. The bush appears to be very healthy and has been blooming well...

One of those oddities I guess.

Same issue with mine. It has always been like this.
