Hi all,
Half of the flowers on my dark of night open the other half don't.  They open part way and then stop. I try to squeeze them and sweet talk them but it doesn't work.  Is it the high temps that make them do this?
thanks

I've never been sure the cause of this. I've not seen it in Dark of Night before but have seen it on several other varieties. Whatever is causing it seems to come and go and the condition does not appear to be permanent for any variety. Although it is a bit of bother you can usually open any flowers like this with gentle finger pressure.

Charlie, received Dark of Night. Today it bloomed and I think it is Blues in the Night.
How do you think? What CV is it?

Yes, it is Blues In The Night. Dark of Night Is a hard one to mix due to the unusual leaves that is has but somehow that has happened. Blues In the Night is more rare and harder to obtain, you were lucky in that.
