I'm very glad I was able to get this one.  It was excellent this summer and now giving me a few more blooms inside for the winter, sharing space with my other addiction, African violets.

Wow great bloom dave!  Those African Violets are huge!  I never had any luck with African Violets, I do grow their cousin Streptocarpus.  Bigger blooms, and more continuous bloomers Smiley

This is my favorite one, Morning Edition

Classically beautiful Torch Song!

I used to grow streptocarpus, too, but don't remember one as nice as yours, Chris.

Streptocarpus are pretty fun, the new ones are amazing these have flowers about 2 inches across.  The is one variety that called Azure Giant that has blue blooms 4 inches across when it is mature.

When the weather warms up, Ill send you some leaves, really easy to start from cuttings Smiley

Very cool!  Remember, just like hibiscus they aren't going to be the same as the parents. But you have the opportunity to find your own hybrid!

I hear you can get them to first flower in about 6 months, so be sure to post some pics when you get those first blooms Smiley

Wow Chris, that's a yummy Streptocarpus bloom.  I've never gotten the courage to try growing them.  Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever seen any of the nurseries around here carry any.

Thanks Charlie.  It was one of my better performers in the greenhouse all summer.
