No, I don't know. It started blooming in one of my greenhouses in Valley Center a few years and bloomed so consistently and well that I had to give it a shot despite lacking a pedigree. It propagates well and still is a great bloomer.

Looks like we need some pics for this one.  They are really amazing to see in person.  The combination of colors are startling when you first see them.  Your mind just wants to take it in and understand that this pattern is produced by nature.  

My plant has been a real slow grower but it was getting way too much water from a near by sprinkler which I recently fixed.  Let's see what it does this and next season.
