charlie....when you describe this one as delicate ,does that mean it is a delicate flower or the whole plant itself????I really think it is pretty but I try to say away from the more tempermental ones??

Good question. I think Cindy was trying to evoke the unusual nature of the flower and did not mean to imply that the plant itself was overly "delicate". In any case, it's a normal hibiscus and a lot like its parent 5th 'Dimension as far as the bush goes. Not really suitable for planting in the garden but fine as a potted plant that is protected from harsher weather. Porcelain Doll has turned out to be more popular than I thought it would be so I plan to grow it as long as people keep ordering it.
