Perhaps a sneak peak as to what new varieties we can expect in the store this coming year? Cheesy

LOL We're so busy getting the new varieties up that we hardly have a second to breathe right now! You've already seen most of them in our newsletters.  Here are a couple:

http://www.hiddenvalleynaturearts.com/acatalog/braveheart.htm
http://www.hiddenvalleynaturearts.com/acatalog/misscongeniality.htm

And a couple of new ones:
http://www.hiddenvalleynaturearts.com/acatalog/deliciousfantasy.htm
http://www.hiddenvalleynaturearts.com/acatalog/snowysky.htm

BUT please don't send waiting list requests for them until after Jan. 1 or 2. Just know they're coming on Jan. 1 with more coming through the year if they sell out in Jan.

We have 41 new varieties to get up, so I'd better get back to work! A webmaster's work is never done........

Cindy

P.S. Tell Charlie I need a raise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some relief is in sight.... We decided not to release one of the new varieties after all. So there will only be 40.

Racing against the clock to get this all done!  Yikes!

Hi Jordan,

I decided to wait on a cross of Living Legend and Fifth Dimension named Sherlock's Mystery because we could only find one photo and it was not in focus. The flower is an unusual rusty orange/red color and pretty big but it'll keep until more blooms open and we can get some decent photos. Poor Cindy - 3 twelve hour days to create the web pages for the 40 other new ones!

Charlie and Cindy,

I saw some of your new registered varieties on the IHS website, and if they are your new varieties I am very glad I saved some of my Christmas money Smiley

Happy new year!

LOL Pretty tricky, Chris!  I didn't think of that when I registered them!  I've been hesitating to put the new cultivars up on our gallery pages because everyone would see them, but if you've already found them at IHS, I guess it won't matter. I'm glad you like them! :-)

LOL, I know, sadly I wanted two that got sold out by the time I went to check out!  Crazy!

For me I got:  Robin Hood
                     Braveheart
                     Silver Dragon

I really had to limit myself because there are a few I am waiting for, and I want to make sure that I have room:)

Thanks for the orders, you guys! Sorry about the sell outs. I'm trying to hold onto more plants of each of the new varieties so that the second year they can be more widely available. In any case, it is sort of neat for those who order on Jan 1  to have one of only a dozen or so plants that exist in the entire world of a new variety.

Kerry,

I wanted Jewel of the Nile too!  I had it in my checkout cart and it sold out before I could finish paying!  Hopefully we can grab one when more are released.  We will have to compare experiences with Silver Dragon once we start growing Smiley

How are your seedlings doing? Perhaps blooms this summer?

lol me too, I was hoping for Jewel of the Nile.  People must wake up early to get into the store on Jan 1!  I was up at 8, which is extremely early for me.  :p

Don't worry, I have a secret plan for next year... haha

More Jewel of the Nile coming in a future inventory update. It doesn't provide a lot of wood to make new plants with or we would have more of this nice flower.

We went out New Year's Eve but trooper that Cindy is she was up again at 3:00AM California time to load the store. That is 6 AM in Florida and the east coast so a lot of orders came from that area first. Hmm, looking at the orders I see that the first one came from Wisconsin, then California, then New York. Hawaii was next (probably had not been to bed yet), and then Minnesota. So all over I guess, people are up at different hours or never went to bed being NY's Eve. We could do it before we go to bed on NY Eve but it's a delicate operation and I don't think Cindy trusted herself without getting a little sleep first. It went off without a hitch this year, thank you Cindy!
