This looks like a big, bright yellow bloom. I enjoy white eyes, too, after seeing so many dark ones and think this might make be good variety for propagating further.

If you read this, Nina, is it one you are familiar with? Did you hybridize it or did someone name it after you? Who were the parents?

HI, Charlie,

It is only now I have seen this topic!

No, I do not know anything about Nina.

Btw, I am looking for a yellow one with a white eye, but the color should be similar to Kitchen's Yellow, a lemon yellow, that has a nicer bloom presentation than KY. Something like this exists? Kitchen's Yellow has a special charm for me, but I have downward blooms.

How about Nina, what is the bloom presentation?

I looked up the cv 'Nina' and the nomenclature info is all "unknown" since someone submitted it in 2002. Jon did send me this comment about it a couple of days ago - "I forgot to mention that I had a few blooms from Kitchens Yellow and Nina over the weekend and Nina was a far brighter and bigger bloom." I'm growing one now but won't see blooms until next summer.
