Hi Charlie,

Is this cv still in the works?  It has a really cool dark center, which I really like.  I finally have some time to look though your cv list again. lol.  I am really looking forward to seeing the updated list Smiley

Bidi-Bidi-Bom was lost for awhile but has recently been rediscovered. If it propagates we will have some next year. Below is a photo of a recent flower.

Thanks for sharing that pic charlie!  Does she usually have a dark center, like in the picture online or is this pic more representative of her blooms?

Bidi-Bidi-Bom is an offspring of Rainbow Christi and RC has and passes on a great big dark eye much of the time. To be honest, I have not seen enough flowers of BBB to say whether the eye is usually as dark as the photo in the online gallery shows or is more maroon as in this photo. For sure it has a large dark eye, how dark and what color exactly probably varies with season, fertilizer, etc. Are you partial to black eyes? Seems like I've recently seen one on something new but can't quite think which it was.

Hi Charlie,

I really like cvs with the really dark eyes.  Its part of the reason why I ended up getting Flickering Flame.  I would really like to see what dark eye cv whose name escapes you Smiley

Has Flickering Flame bloomed for you yet? I planted one in our garden earlier this summer and have been really happy with the full sun flowers. Also the striking colors against the dark eye have proven to be eye-catching from a distance. Valentines Day is another with a big striking eye but not the one I was thinking of.

Good Morning!

Flickering Flame hasn't bloomed yet, I got a very nice trimmed one about three weeks ago.  Its amazing how many branches it is sending up! I count 5 Smiley  Actually after my move alot of the tips were badly damaged from the heat, so I gave those cvs a nice prune, and they are just now starting to send up their new growth.  It looks like I will have to bring them inside pretty soon, the weather in colorado is going to change.

I really like V-day and I gave my specimen to a friend before I left and I still have 16.  I really like v-day and am going to ask her to give me a branch or two so I can root it.  I hope you can think of that cv, because I always love seeing pictures of new ones Smiley
