Kerry, the forum profiles contain private email addresses and other personal info for over 500 people who have registered and we feel responsible for protecting that info from spammers or other problematic uses. For now we're going to continue with the privacy policy. The forum is for public exchange of information about growing our hibiscus and is working well, seems to me. It's harmonious and positive and a lot of good info and great photos have been shared.

Hi Charlie it maybe how you have the forum setup ( which you can be edited) I never have my emails shown or addresses shown in any of my profiles even on my own dog forum none of that info is shown. It just shows inbox, Instant messaging, albums, friends etc... and statistics of the user like how many post per day and how many threads started.
No harm just thought I would let you know.
