This Cv looks like its yellow and red splotching is really intense.  Anyone have this cv?

The cuttings are here, very large and full.  I know that COF is a great bloomer.  How is Saber Dance?

What is CoF?

Saber Dance's best trait in my opinion is how well it blooms. Lots of small to mid-sized flowers usually. I have one big bush of it that must be about 5 feet tall and about as wide and it blooms a lot. I haven't spread it around a lot, surprised you found it actually.

CoF = Chariots of Fire Smiley  I find I do alot of abbreviating, without explaining it.

I saw this one of ebay, and I won it with the minimum bid, Cheesy  I haven't seen it on the website, but I really liked the bloom.  It also looks like it is the same cross as Some like it Hot,  and has the same flower size.  The thing I like about Saber Dance, (at least in the pictures) is how much more yellow splotching it has.

Oh, I see. I think you will like it. The plant is not as vigorous as Some Like It Hot but that can be a good thing because SLIH grows too fast and can get too tall before it starts blooming. I'm glad to hear that Saber Dance is getting around.

Charlie, will you ever be offering Saber Dance again?  I love the bloom color and form and the fact that it is a less vigorous grower is a good thing for me.  It went on my wish list the first time I visited your website a few years ago, but I don't ever recall seeing it in the online store.

Hi Dave,

I will add it to the "to be propagated" list but I have a feeling I will have to prune back the one big old plant of it I have, let it regrow fresh wood, and then take cuttings. Old wood doesn't root well and I think that is what I have on that plant. So, we are talking next year by the time that all is accomplished. This rejuvenation is overdue for Saber Dance and I'm glad you are giving me a nudge.
