The holes in the flower of Silver Dragon are from a Carpenter Bee, very industrious little chewer.

Last year I lost Tsaritsa.  Winter 2017 I was going through last of the moving boxes and found a single bag of 1 seed marked Tsaritsa X Prom Queen 2014.
I will say the 2nd summer seedling not doing so well.
The flowers have been mainly 7" by my surprise and been lasting 3 days in 90F.      Prom Queen is somewhere on forum.
I call the seedling Padparadscha pad-pah-raj-ah like the pink sapphire.  The untreated sapphire has purple hints.
Charlie can I send you some wood and ask you to grow it and see how it does?  It's on the  right track but winter is coming.
A couple flowers this month from Padparadscha.

A tropical depression or remnants have parked over Ohio for 48hrs with 1 more night to go flushing.  Alota cool rain but  my hibiscus are  set up to handle it but at same time I can go a day or 2 in 90F without watering.

Hello Kyle,  I think Padparadscha is stunning.  I would love to get a cutting or 2.  I have tons of root stock if all you have is woody cuttings.  It's a good idea to make clones of a CV you really like prior to winter.  My email is jimgroves132gmail.com   If you want to let me take a crack at it I'd love to.  Best of luck, Jim

thanks Jim, I might not cut Padparadscha until the days start to get longer since she is going dormant.
I will keep you in mind thank you.
