A couple years ago Mother Nature fell over broke some branches and slightly uproot after transplanting.
Nothing major, happened in spring with plenty of time to grow over summer.
It went down hill after that but strange because broken branches ain't no big deal.
It developed some type of fungus because the leaves were black spotting and dropping buds.
Last winter I did the bleach thing as a last resort to try and save it.  (topic about bleaching on forum).
It took a long time but it finally came back after regrowing last summer.
It isn't 100% back to normal. Every now and then I still seeing black spot and signs of fungus infection.
I started treating it with 3-1 Rose Clear by Scott's (UK) because it worked well on my roses.
Direction say use only 4 applications per year and stop in the fall.
It's a systemic product in which you make a solution and spray it everywhere on the bush.
After 1 application I have seen some improvement but I think it's going to take several more applications and
another good summer out in the sun.
Mother Nature when she's cold.

Over the years I have never been able to get my Tahitian Princess to bloom before August with the exception of the 1st summer when it arrived from a greenhouse.
It was dormant all winter dropped all it's leaves but it's doing better than ever now.
