I couldn't find a discussion on Blue Opal, which surprises me as it is one of my favorite cultivars. Last summer and fall I had many blooms on my 6 inch plant. The colors varied in intensity in shades of purple, pink, and blue. On the second day the blooms would fade somewhat, but as my plant is indoors I never got the gray and white colors that you find in heat.

They sure are nice Grace, thanks for showing us some real indoor flowers.
It's good to know Blue Opal does well indoors and has nice color to it.

Grace, your photos also caught another good quality of Blue Opal, which is that it blooms a lot! Thanks for starting this topic.
