New issues, no luck on entire forum

TRUST ME. when I say  I HATE spamming topics, but rest assure, there is nothing on the forum, anywhere relating this. So I am begging to the Gods with this one.

All 4 plants are great.... except this one,  the first one that bloomed this year
California Beauty,  I recently transplanted all my plants a month ago or so. I ran out of your media, Charlie, so I thought,  "well, since I have an excess of LFSM, and peat moss,I will just fill in the rest, to get me by this year.

I don't know if this is the issue, but common sense says it is.  I only used LFSM to fill it, no peat moss in this one.


1. The roots are actually growing upward....believe it or not....... I pulled back the moss to find this.... I was astonished, might not be the BEST picture, but they are going north haha.

2.  The growth has, well, slown down like 90%!  And the few new leaves coming up... are like nothing I have seen, once again. almost look like alien spaceship... or a stingray........ There are normal growth leaves, and the odd ones right next to it.
3.  All leaves but two, have yellowing edges.  Not necessarily getting worse at all from what I can tell, but they are evident.

Last picture is of a leaf, that is ugly now.  It was "Soggy" and grey when I noticed it first weeks ago. Since then, that part deteriorated and has not progressed, but the smaller odd leaflet growing, has the grey happening again.

Brenden, what is LFSM?

I think the roots growing upward are just trying to grow into the moss which they perceive as soil.

Probably this issue is related to the soil mix that was used in the transplant. But, are there other things that have changed? Such as location of the pots, light source, temperature, feeding or watering schedules?

Its hard to figure out from a distance what is going on. If the plants survive they will probably sort this out next summer when they can grow naturally in warm, sunny conditions.

Long fiber sphagnum  moss.  I do carnivorous  plants  as well.  No location  change at all. If that was a possible  factor, I  might of included it. This was the only plant that was not transplanted  ***. Due to lack of medium, so essentially  I topped it off with LFSM. I wonder if that added in, effected it so dramatically. The leaf growth is super odd as well. And I was under the impression  that roots always grow down  as they run FROM the light
