Charlie I hope you see this topic as my question is for you.  I believe this is a really old cultivar you developed probably some years ago that is no longer available (the web page for it's info is no longer functional).  I was wondering if you still even have the plant as I have always admired the bloom and last night I surprisingly saw a picture of a current bloom of it from Taiwan.

I conversed with the owner and he doesn't know where it came from just saying he got it from a friend some time ago.

A very impressive bloom to say the least...I had a feeling it would be something this beautiful.  If you think you still have it I was interested to hear what your take on it is...

Darren, Wild Dream is a beautiful flower in my opinion - one that deserves to be out there more. I have several large old plants of it that bloom a lot each summer. It doesn't root particularly well, if at all, so is harder to get a supply of than many other good varieties.  A few people on this forum have had it in the past and I hope I can get some plants of it out there again before long.

Here are a couple of photos of it.

Wild Dream was a nice one when I had it Darren.  Very cool blooms, the bush was upright, but not super full looking.  It was also a slower grower, but would look really nice in a group planter.  I hope Charlie does get more out there as it was one that I liked a lot.

Chris & Charlie thank you for the great information concerning Wild Dream.  The pics off of FB are astonishing in my opinion and well worth any slow growth and/or open growth characteristics.  Being that I have planters galore here it would fit in nice.

It's on my wish list now - Charlie any hope that you might be able to make some grafts for this one some time this half of the year?  I know...another grafting request from Darren!
