This flower is not an exact match to any of our varieties. It is similar to Legendary Pleasures, Expect Miracles, True Love, and Flirtatious. I think we will have to wait for a summer bloom to see how it looks then. For instance, are the markings around the edge the type that are more common in summer heat, or are they always like this? Or do you have some flower thrips marking up the blooms?

Anyway, please send more photos in summer and we will see what it looks like then.

It is summer bloom and it always looks like this one. There are no flower thrips on this plant.
In one of your month newsletter my friend found one that looks like her.
It is Living Legend x Rainbow Sherbet (http://www.hiddenvalleyhibiscus.com/newsletters/june2011.htm)
Is it it? If yes, did you gave the name to this CV?

Yes, that is it! It is now named 'Joie de Vivre'. I am surprised that you have it. It is a very good variety.
