Rosalind singles twins. This is a new plant for me and it has already been a very consistent bloomer. The blooms last 2 days and have held up very well in a hot greenhouse this week. The second photo with High Voltage.

Very pretty, Dave. You are getting a lot more yellow in your blooms than I see here in cooler temperatures. We've seen mostly orange with gold colored rays. Must be hot where you are!

Thanks Charlie. We've been rather hot here this week. Our high temperatures have been mostly in the high 90s with yesterday's max at 102. Bubble Gum Fun has not been pleased apparently with bud drop but these two have not been affected by it.

So does Rosalind tend to bloom more as a double in cooler weather, and as a single in warmer weather?  I've been thinking of getting one.

Hi Dave,

Rosalind and many of her offspring bloom double in the heat, and single in the cooler weather of spring and fall. Sort of counterintuitive considering many double flowers struggle in the heat. Fortunately, Rosalind is not one of them.
