Erny, your Silver Dragon is a blooming machine!  Really liking how it looks.  Its cool how the blue and purple colors get dark as the night temps start dipping into the 40s and 50s.

A few from me today:

Magic Crystal, looking very nice today.  Blooming as a mini, but the colors are great.

Thunder egg, this might be the look it gives under my growing conditions.  Can't really complain as it is fantastic!

Seedling, Tidal Flux, deep blue mini that blooms well, sets seed and lasts 4 days here!

Great blooms everyone!

Deb - That Red Light is a stunning bloom!
Erny - Everything's looking great for you!
David - Great Cranberry Muffin! Can't wait til mine blooms!
Chris - That Magic Crystal is amazing! And can't wait til my Thunder Egg blooms too!

Well my Hibs have been showing their displeasure of being moved inside by yellowing some of their leaves, and worst of all dropping some of their buds. The majority of them seem to be handling the change of environment pretty well... but a couple have been stubborn brats and dropped almost all of their leaves... Burnt Saffron and Summer Fun in particular. Why can't they understand that I did it for their own good? WHY?!? LOL

Anyways, I have collected a few shots from the past few days.

Satsuma - Day 1 and Day 2 of the same bloom. Incidentally, this CV has handled the move indoors the best of all that I have. The blooms are noticeably smaller, but it hasn't yellowed a single leaf!
Scarlet Beauty - Wow! Such a stunner![/center]

Rebecca, I've done very little pruning on the Sun Shower bush. Last year I cut some branches off near the base but that's about it. It seems to be in a good location and has been in the ground for about 4 or 5 years.
here is the pic of my sunshowers first bloom small an second is what it produces now maybe rootstock took over I'm not sure did u get yours from this site I did not see it available maybe Charlie will consider adding this plant if he hasn't yet

John, I love your Wild Grape. I can't wait for mine to bloom. I got it after seeing your photos. But I planted it in August from a 4" pot, so I may have to wit until spring.

Very interesting group of flowers, Norm! Time For Magic is a rare one these days and we haven't seen many Blushing Peach flowers yet, either. Have to add that the Sparkling Waters photo is superb, catch that beauty when it first opens and the colors sparkle!

Rebecca, those are beautiful photos of Sun Shower. It has always been an excellent flower but has the reputation of being a sprawling and difficult bush when grown in pots. In fact, I thought it always had such a bush until I saw one at Ernie's house in southern California growing in the ground. Ernie's was huge and had shaped up well over time.

However, I still think it is one of the wilder and harder to manage bushes when grown in a pot. I have grown and sold many of them over the past decade but not too many in recent years as the quality of bushes we offer has become better and better. There are several varieties nowadays that have similar color schemes but are more attractive as bushes - such as the one we just featured in the October newsletter named White Hot.

The 2 flowers you show are both Sun Showers, not root stock. Sun Showers is rarely grafted because it grows on its own roots just fine. Sun Showers is like many of the hibiscus flowers that feature yellow markings - in hot weather the yellow comes out fully but in cooler weather the flower is mostly solid red/orange.

In any case, I am sure you will enjoy the fine flowers of Sun Showers and thank you for showing these.

Nice photo of the garden this morning, if you look down the bottom you can see there is a house being built that will now overlook a little, I will have to find away of blocking for a bit of privacy. Maybe I will move things about a bit, in the second photo you can see Melon Melangi at 7 feet and the seedling next to the Plumeria at 8feet so it wont be to difficult.

David, I am amazed at how large your plants get in pots.

also Rockets Red Glare , the bush is getting pretty nice on this one , but it needs a little wiring up because the branches tend to droop down . also a few others .
