Awesome blooms (and bushes) everyone! Some of my recent bloomers... " Not Maybe Belle Afterall" (Latest bloom is a drastic departure from previous ones... Still a mystery, but looking more like Belle du Jour) Pinot NoirSea of TranquilitySolar EclipseSun ShowerThanksgivingDeb

David, I am amazed at how large your plants get in pots.
John maybe its to do with the actual Tropical conditions here, and fortunately being on a roof top its not all of them. I am having major problems with root rot here and have lost and am losing about half my collection. At least now I am getting on top of it and can at least rectify for the future. All new plants, cuttings [which I have about 30] grafts etc will be growing in about 40% Perlite. The one thing I cant really control is the heat of the water I have to give [heat helps the bad Pathogens apparantly], having done a bit of research on the Net its recommended never to water plants at anything above 15c to 18c, well I have no chance of that here, sometimes the water out the tap is about 24c and sometimes higher. Troi oi as they say here haha what a game we play.

Our seedling Makenna, looks a little different since it's inside and doesn't get any sun. And also Caramel Toffee looks to have a more of a orange look without sunlight.

Hi Rebecca I'v had my plant for about 3 years , sometimes the buds will start off lighter green then darken as they get bigger . some of them fall off while they are real small they will come out real light green almost yellow . I think the plant isn't getting enough light or they also drop them sometimes when your plant is young .

Great blooms everyone! Here are some from today: My seedling Baby Mia x Modern Art, this one is a heavy bloomer and has a nice compact growth habit. So far it seems pretty nice for a pink CV anyways Magic Crystal Twins, nice color and form too bad they are mini sized today. Thunder Egg, looking really spotted and fantastic!

Returned from a trip today and found several nice blooms. Some appear to be on day 2 or 3. Vin Electrique is certainly day 2 or 3. My Blue Heaven is becoming one of my favorites. The only frustrating thing is that the photos never look as good as the real thing. Rainbow Christie is a real eye catcher with its 9" blooms Chariots of Fire is proving to be a prolific bloomer despite the small size of the new bush.

Hi everyone, I am really enjoying all of your gorgeous flowers! I have a long ways to go cause I only have 4 plants, but wanted to share a couple of pics of my wild allure from today. I bought the wild allure and party girl in 4-inch pots from HVH this spring and even though they haven’t had a lot of blooms, the few they have had were very pretty. I am a picture geek, so I won’t even tell you how many pics I have taken of this one flower today, but thought you might like to see a few of its stages. Pic #1 was taken at 9:40am Pic #2 at 10:06am Pic #3 at 11:11am Pic #4 at 2:24pm when I moved it for some last rays of sun I love the way they constantly change!!
