Meteor Shower

Today I got my first really nice blooms on this cv. Strong colors with significant spotting and large sized blooms at about 9". The plant has been a steady grower and has a ton of baby buds at the ends of it's branches so the potential for a heavy bloomer seems realistic.
I can't wait for more blooms on this one going forward. Definitely one of my top five blooms now for Meteor Shower. You can see the progression of color with the older bloom shots.

Here are some plant shots and the second bloom from today. Very nice, it was twins earlier but I cut one to showcase it in the house. The wall behind the plant is 2'2" tall.

Like most of my plants I have been discovering that they were under watered for two months during summer as I try to figure out my new soil. MS has started responding to getting more water and also getting more shade from the wall behind it as the sun angle continues to lower.

I had a stunning pair of twins on Meteor Shower a few weeks back. The winter colors on this bloom are just amazing, easily one of the best I have out of 100+ plants. I see it is now sold out - no surprise there!

My sister in law just ordered this for me as a birthday present. I hadn't ever paid it much notice. It looks really nice!

Beautiful photos, Darren! In hotter locations Meteor Showers develops lots of yellow spots during summer, another great look for it. I'm wondering how yours will grow and branch over the next couple of years.

Darren, that's certainly a standout for winter colors.
