Hi Rebecca, not really sure what I do right or wrong, I water a lot because it has been a very hot summer, and I spray the leaves and give the plants a shower to try to keep the spider mites away. I fertilize about once a month. I use a potting mix based on coir; either the one from HVH or a coir mix I buy from a hydroponic gardening store. Lately I've had grasshoppers eating the leaves but now that it is cooling off they seem to be going away and the new growth is nice. I'm looking forward to more blooms this fall. Oh, I also add ascophyllum nodosum mix to the fertilizing solution, which HVH sells under the name of Super Nova but there are other brands out there too, I've been using Growmore Seaweed Extract. Good luck and good growing to you! Kiss
