Another fabulous creation by Charlie. Great plant, loves to bloom, vigorous grower and the blooms are really unique. What I really like is that they look just great on day 2 with a different look as the red fades and the lavender becomes more predominant.

Mine is planted in a spot that will get a lot of shade for most of the year though currently with it being summer it is getting quite a bit of afternoon sun which is intense and it is handling it like a champ.

This plant has grown like crazy since my last update on it in July. So much for it being in shade most of the year. It is about 6' tall now so it has pretty much doubled in size and is tall enough to see sunlight right thru the winter solstice. It is abundantly branching and each branch is budding up so good news there. It does have a bit of an open look to it but maybe that is because it is in a shady spot for the most part.

More blooms - as you can see each one has it's own look. I love it! You can see the fade during the strong summer sun on the first sequence of pics below. Lovely fade!
