Great parents and I like the cartwheel look of the bloom from the online store so I thought why not. I have to say when I got this one it just looked extremely strong and sturdy. Super thick branches and lush leafing that has so far tolerated all weather conditions very well. It also is showing it wants to branch out too so I am excited to see what this CV can do come summer.
I get a sneaky feeling that the blooms on this one will impress.

I look forward to seeing what happens this coming summer. Meanwhile, here is a photo of the blooms.

OK, finally got a first bloom to show for Show Stopper. All the hibiscus in this particular planter have not been too happy this summer as I try to figure out what might work for them all or each individually. Looks like SS is growing again after a long long pause and I guess it's first bloom confirms this. It is a mini but after it has struggled that is no surprise. I'm sure it will improve it's blooms if I can figure out what happened that made it happy...

I finally figured out the entire planter this CV is located in was super under watered and dry as a bone way down deep. After several months of newly installed sprinklers and heavy feeding things have drastically improved. Some really nice blooms on Show Stopper - can't wait for more...
