I'm surprised none of our regular posters has this one. They did get snapped up by customers around the world last year. I like this one a lot. Excellent flower on a beautiful bush.

Below are some photos showing it in different conditions. First is a cloudy or winter day photo, second is a hot summer lots of sun photo, and last is a photo taken by a guy in Houston that blew me away. But, I am afraid this last one shows the type of photo often seen from iPhones (which he used) - meaning oversaturated color in the photos. Still, it's quite pretty, realistic or not.

Just spotted this photo in my file- it shows how well Blues In The Night can bud up. This was one of the first cutting grown plants of it before pruning.

Fantastic pictures Charlie!  I am now a believer of Blues in the Night Smiley

Getting accurate photos on the iphone can be a bit difficult, it usually involves taping the focus where you see a nice blend of both shadow and highlight.  That seems to produce the most accurate colors in photos.  I have used the iphone for my photos and I feel that they are pretty accurate, but it did take a bit of messing to get the right colors and saturation to match what is seen in real life.

It would not surprise me that Blues in the Night could get that dark if fed a very high Potash diet coupled with winter weather, raindrop surprised me with some dark, almost black blooms under those conditions!
