Hi Charlie,
I really liked this one when I first saw it a few years ago. I haven't seen it in a while, are you still growing this one?
Thank a lot!

Chris, Pixie Prince has one of those rare flowers that feels like it was cast in wax - very stiff petals. Attractive colors, but it's not a large flower, ranging from 4-6 inches. I do have it still but did not propagate is so far this year. Mostly because I am trying to move away from bushes that are too open. It's not floppy but does not branch enough to fill in well. That does not matter for some situations or tastes but I am striving for fuller bushes and more stems which usually translates to more flowers. In any case, we may have a couple plants before the year is out because it is rather unique.

Thanks Charlie for your experience with Pixie Prince, I agree that I have mostly thinned my collection out to those CVs with nice compact and well branched bushes. Although there are some CVs with unique and very nice qualities like firm, waxy blooms, which are still worth keeping around. I have one CV that has Wallflower and Butterfly (the GV) in its background and has a very compact and well branched bush. I will try and remember to take a picture of it later today, it has the ideal growth habit and blooms well.
I am really trying to produce CVs that are well suited to pot culture and bloom well indoors. This plant seems to fit the criteria I am looking for and will no doubt provide the new foundation for my future hybrids. I am curious which of your CVs have a nice compact growth habit. I know that Pocahontas grows like this, maybe also Braveheart? I woud love to hear of more of your CVs that have this bush type.

I put this one on my wish list , I was hoping it would be in store Jan 1st but it was not. Thanks for the info I bet Pixie Prince X Satsuma would be good. If I get PP I will do this cross for sure.
