David I love the way your 3 CG blooms line up in a row.  So formal and perfect!

They where in a line Darren, I also took it early as its a bit tricky taking pictures at the moment [low sun big shadows etc], am quite surprised they went into a second day which was nice as shown below. Also today a nice Melon Melange Rainbow Sherbert and Pocahontas.

Darren, thank goodness for you and David. While my plants seem to have decided to take the winter off I know I can log on to the Forum and see pictures of beautiful flowers from the two of you. Ay Caramba looks great. I've never seen such a dark Raging Bull but it's a great look for that cv

My only decent blooms today are on the two plants I still have in pots. I think it must be because I have been bringing the pots inside at night since we started having nighttime temps in the low 40s. Black Dream and Creole lady photographed in bright sun and shade.

Thanks Kristen. That's the most perfect BD bloom I've had in terms of shape, symmetry, etc.

Thanks David. That means a lot coming from you. You and Darren have set the bar high for the rest of us--you with potted plants and Darren with those in the ground. I'll be happy if my garden ever looks half as good as either of yours.

Yes, very nice Black Dream Erny. You've got one advantage over David and Darren - some very well established decade old cultivars, right? To bring them to full glory you might consider getting a 10 gallon, electric powered sprayer and a couple quarts of Supernova. Such sprayers make the task of spraying fast and easy and have enough power to blast deep into the canopy of bigger plants with lots of leaves.

Charlie, thanks for the suggestion on the power sprayer. My older plants are indeed fairly dense and hedge-like. Where can I find 10 gallon power sprayers? The local big box stores don't seem to have any.

Kristen, very nice photos. I hadn't really looked at Blue Ballerina before but I sure am now.

Thanks to all for the nice comments on the Black Dream bloom. Chris is keeping quiet because he knows that is HIS BD that I am holding for him.
