Lady Cilento

Yes it's Lady Cilento.  Here are a couple of pics from early May before she decided to stop blooming for several months.  Probably my fault as she didn't seem to appreciate the move outside.

Lady Cilento is an Australian cultivar that we imported awhile back. In the right conditions or perhaps at a more mature age, she can be a prolific bloomer. I was disappointed with her tendency to make a lot of thin branches that then flopped over as they grew longer but I see your plant is looking nicely upright so far. You can probably avoid floppiness by strategic pruning and staking as needed. My best guess is that you will see more blooms and some floppiness eventually. Pretty flower, isn't it?

Hi Charlie,

I love the flower.  Here is a full view photo from last Saturday.  It is sitting on an inverted pot so it looks a little taller than its actual 33".  This picture was taken late in the day so I tried to take advantage of the florescent lighting above the laundry area.  This bloom still looks very attractive today, which is its third day, unlike the blooms it got in May which lasted only one. I hope it doesn't get floppy, but will stake if necessary. I already need to do that on a few others.
