Ladybugs & Hibiscus

I have such an abundance of ladybugs so far this winter and have been enjoying them so much I just have to share them with you all. They have a lot of personality too like the hummingbirds not to mention they eat lots of pests!!!!

Having hibiscus all over the garden sure creates a wonderful ecosystem to enjoy right on my own property.

Ladybugs are interesting creatures. I once climbed to the top of a 7000 foot peak and found the big boulder at the very top completely covered with these guys. I have no idea what they were doing way up there.

And for sure help with pest control. I wonder why you have so many this winter? Warmer than normal probably allows for more food source for them.

That is very interesting with all those ladybugs on that boulder way up high like that. I have never heard of such a thing...I'm sure that was the last thing you expected to see at the pinnacle of your climb!
