I noticed yesterday that several of the buds on my Ft. Myer Hibiscus have been eaten in half. I've attached a photo to explain what I'm talking about. Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

Hi Chris,

Looks like grasshoppers to me.  Had the same problem last season.  There are a lot of products you can find online to help you out and Charlie may offer something in the HVH care products section as well.

Thanks Dave, I haven't seen any yet this year but it doesn't mean they're not around and as far as I can tell it hasn't happened again. I'll take a look and see what I can find to keep them off.
