Hello Charles , I know you do not have this cultivar anymore but do you still have pictures of it ? I would love to see it again.

Looking at old photos I am reminded how many of these I had once upon a time. Ah well, there are new ones now to look forward to!

This is a combo of several photos of Amethyst Heart that I put together back then. You can see the many different looks that this variety could show.

Amethyst Heart is Misfire x Kaleidoscope. I no longer have Kaleidoscope, a Florida variety that may not exist anywhere. Misfire is still around, and has been a useful variety for hybridizing. You can see the influence of Kaleidoscope on Amethyst Heart in the small photo attached.
